Podcasting is the method of distributing multimedia files, such as audio programs or music videos, over the Internet using either the RSS or Atom syndication formats, for playback on mobile devices, mp3 players and personal computers. Usually a podcast features one type of show, with new episodes released either sporadically or at planned intervals such as daily or weekly.
Telemak has developed a hybrid podcast (audio only) and vodcast (video also) library solution for The United States Mission to the European Union (ESEU). This library holds all speeches of ambassadors, executives and secretaries. It even features a rich multimedia library of Condoleezza Rice, Secretary of State of The United States.
